RN Care Manager
Milan holds a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Linguistic Anthropology and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW). She has experience providing counseling services to individuals with opioid use disorders and working with migrant and refugee children from diverse cultural backgrounds. Her work is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and a commitment to meeting people where they are.
Milan founded a mutual aid organization dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness by distributing tents, sleeping bags, hygiene supplies, food, and connecting people with community resources. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed care, and advocacy for underserved populations.
Having lived in four different countries, Milan brings a global perspective and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. She strives to provide compassionate, culturally responsive support that honors each person’s unique background, strengths, and lived experiences.
Milan’s long-term career goals include healthcare policy, advocacy, psychotherapy and counseling, and medical and mental health social work. She is passionate about improving healthcare systems, advancing equitable access to care, and using policy to create meaningful, lasting change while continuing to provide direct support to individuals, families, and communities.
