No Cost & Discounted Services for Veterans and Their Spouses
With deep gratitude and respect, we thank our Veterans and their Families for their tremendous sacrifice. Elder Options is honoring our Veterans and Veteran Spouses with the following No Cost & Discounted Services:
Veteran Homecare through the Community Care Network
Recognizing the number of retired military personnel who live in El Dorado County and the surrounding areas, we are pleased to announce that Elder Options is contracted through the Veterans Administration & TriWest Healthcare Alliance as a Community Care Network Provider. With this contract in place, Elder Options is accepting referrals from local physicians registered with the TriWest Community Care Network (CCN), as well as VA Health Facilities to provide non-medical home care, as ordered by the veterans physician.
The number of hours depends on the veterans needs and is determined by his/her physician. Once the referral is received, Elder Options’ staff will reach out to the veteran/family, develop a care plan, and personally match a caregiver who can best meet the needs of the veteran and family.

How Vital Link Works
To summon help when needed, simply press your help button (worn around your neck or wrist). When activated, the system will connect you to the US based monitoring center where caring, professional Emergency Medical Dispatch-certified operators will communicate with you over the built-in speaker. You can tell the operator what kind of help you need and whom you would like them to call. The operators will then contact someone who you have designated, such as a family member or friend, and alert the proper authorities. If you do not respond, the operators will send help immediately.
